Hi, I am Teresa Howell.
I grew up in WV and I have lived in South Carolina since 1996 and made Charleston my home in 2000
I have always loved photography. In 2006, I took the leap forward to take my photography a little bit more seriously. I purchased my first "real" DSLR Canon. From that moment on I was bitten by the photography bug and I haven't been able to turn back :)
I prefer photographing during the evening hours and using the beautiful landscape of Charleston as the backdrop for portraits.
I love community service and enjoy giving my time and talent to those that truly appreciate my craft.
This is my favorite photography quote by Ted Grant, Photographer, and this is exactly how I feel about black and white photography:
“When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!”―
I do not photograph weddings do their physical demands and being a one woman show it is a little too much. But if I can help you with anything else, please contact me.
I am a former volunteer photographer for www.nilmdts.org Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS), an international nonprofit organization, provides remembrance photography for parents suffering the death of a baby. NILMDTS has expanded its services to further support parents who experience the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, neonatal or any type of pregnancy or infant loss. Please check out their web site.
Thank you and God Bless!
